Attitude

"Change your circumstances by changing your attitude." The quote is by Eleanor Roosevelt, and for me it's a great reminder that I can change how I show up in the world. No matter what the outside influences are, we always have the opportunity to choose our attitude towards the day, and the people in it. This choice is not a small thing. I wanted to paint a Tiffany-inspired border to this gouache painting, and it's part of a series of three that have a similar feel.
