In the Eye of the Beholder: Your Connection to the Art
My core objective in all I created is really about connection & uplift. I am infinitely curious about what brings us together and intrigued by what connects us to each other, what connects us to the land, what connects us to art. Through sharing our stories and deeply listening to others, this world becomes a better place. Art the world over can create a platform for connection, discussion, and spirituality. I love to lean into hearing why others are drawn to a particular painting, it's my favorite part of exhibiting my work. I don't get to hear these stories from most that buy my art.
My goal with this project is to understand what you've connected with in my paintings and peel back the layers. I want to share your words and feelings, and perhaps one day, produce a book filled with the wisdom and insight you and others collectively share as it pertains to where we overlap through art.
