Empty Hands

I come to fight you with only empty hands
Grasping at the hope that you will show me mercy
As I have done for you
Take my hands and there will be
no bloodshed, no lives shall be lost
No mothers will cry out over the death of a child
Take my hands and watch as the wars fade away
Watch with me as a man spares the life of another
For there is light in his soul
If we all fight with empty hands
The world might know peace
So let go of your guns, your blades,
your bombs, your bullets
Empty your hands
Do not fight each other
Fight the darkness that tries to consume us
For we are all fragmented pieces
When we come together, we are whole
