Art Nouveau Peacock*

As I created this acrylic painting, I was very interested in researching the peacock and what it meant across other cultures. Insight, elegance, beauty, integrity, rebirth, royalty, wealth & awakening were repetitive themes for this lovely bird. Many times, I write poetry or a motto that will go alongside my artwork. These words came to mind: "Seek Out the Awakening of Insight and the Refinement of Integrity, There You Will Find True Happiness." If we seek connection, gratitude, and self-improvement as we live our lives, I find it's the fertile soil for happiness.
