Art Nouveau Peacock*

As I created this painting, I was very interested in finding out what the peacock meant across other cultures. I was looking for someone to quote on my artwork, but I didn't find what inspired me in the way of a poem, so I wrote my own. These are the words that came to mind as I learned more about this amazing bird and how it's been so highly revered throughout the centuries across the world.
