The Maroon Bells are reported to be one of the most photographed parts of the state, due to it's sheer beauty. Located near Aspen, Colorado these bell-shaped wine-colored mountains are deep in the high country in the White River National Forest. travel here by bus rather than by car as the emissions are limited from vehicles in the area.
