Adventure Is Out There

"Adventure is out there." This is my favorite quote for the Pixar movie UP. What better place to experience true adventure that at the top of the highest road in North America, at the summit of Mt. Blue Sky in Colorado? My love of the Colorado 14ers inspired this painting, and the notion that adventure is truly around every corner. I wanted to add a hiker at the top for scale, and to show that there are adventures with others, but many of life's best adventures can stem from when we take a sojourn alone.
