I take a lot of inspiration from American Art Pottery of the Arts & Crafts Movement (1880 - 1920).
Marblehead Pottery was my spark for this painting. I feel all house cats on some level truly believe they ARE a big cat, so here's to all the kitties (and humans) out there chasing their big dreams and decorative catnip, in whatever form that may be. The original painting was 8x10 acrylic on textured panel.
