"Bloom Where you are Planted" is a quote by St. Francies De Sales from the 16th century. Many an artist has also quoted it over the years. Find joy beneath your own feet, not far off in the distance is another way to capture the essence of the meaning. I entitled this Grueby Bloom as a nod to the Grueby art pottery from the late 1800s - early 1900s. The colors and stylized tulip are inspired by their pottery.
