Englewood Mural

A new mural of mine has been unveiled in Englewood, CO! Owner, Brian Hart stands outside his amazing frame shop, Frame De Art next to my mural on the side of his building at 3065 S Broadway. We wanted to highlight the history of Englewood with the old Santa Fe Depot that is still standing from the early 1900s. We included Pirates Cove water park, The Gothic Theater (adding some favorite band names to the marquee), Virere (a metal sculpture of grass by Lawrence Argent) and Frame De Art. I designed this mural on my computer in Adobe Illustrator, hand drawing each vector shape so that it could be enlarged to 12ft x 14ft. One of my favorite parts of the story is that I was drawing the water park portion while I was at Elitches water park this summer as my kids hung out. So, it felt very authentic!
